Sutra 23

Mind , appearing as both subject and object, is all-inclusive

Mente, aparecendo tanto como sujeito e objeto, é tudo incluído

drastr-drsyoparaktam cittam sarvãrtham||23||

The mind, being colored by the knower and the known, is all-inclusive.||23||

A mente, sendo colorida pelo conhecedor e pelo conhecido, é tudo incluido. || 23 ||

Seer and the seen, purusha and the objects: both are Brahman.
Aquele que vê e o visto, purusha e os objetos: ambos são Brahman.

Sarvartha means "the mind having the hability of all-apprehension"
Sarvartha significa "a mente tendo a capacidade de apreensão total"

When the mind moves to the woeld of matter it becomes materialistic, and when the same mind flowsn towards spirit, it becomes spiritual.
Quando a mente se move para o mundo da matéria, torna-se materialista e, quando a mesma mente flui para o espírito, torna-se espiritual.

The state of a yogi's mind

O estado da mente do yogi

ksina vrtterabhijãtasyeva manergrahitr-grahanagrãhyesu tatsthatadanjanatã samãpattih||41||

One whose play of the mind is almost annihilated [ attains] the entire absorption of the knower, knowing and the knowable in one, just as the polished and transparent crystal takes the color of the object that rests on it.||41||

Aquele cujo jogo da mente é quase aniquilado [atinge] toda a absorção do conhecedor, conhecido e conhecível , assim como o cristal polido e transparente toma a cor do objeto que nele repousa. || 41 ||

Spiritual life is a life of transformation.

A vida espiritual é uma vida de transformação

A life transformed in love, joy, and bliss is the true life of yoga and meditation.
