The Samadhi Pada , Sutra 7

Knowledge through direct perception

Conhecimento através da percepção direta

pratyaksa-anumãna-âgamah pranamami ||7||

Direct perception, inference, and scriptural injunctions are collectively called pramana ( path of knowledge)||7||

A percepção direta, a inferência e as injunções das escrituras são coletivamente chamadas pramana (caminho do conhecimento) || 7 ||

pramana means intellect and thoughts

 pramana significa intelecto e pensamentos

pratyakhsa pramana: O conhecimento direto precisa que a alma a mente e os órgãos dos sentidos trabalhem juntos. Triputi, o triplo aspecto do vidente, a visão e o que é visto.

pratyakhsa pramana: Direct knowledge needs a soul and a mind and the organs of the senses work together.Triputi , the threefold aspect of seer, sight and seen.

anumãna pramana: The second aspect of pramana ( path of knowledge) drawn through inference , can be the cause of wrong conclusions

anumãna pramana: O segundo aspecto de pramana (caminho do conhecimento) extraído através da inferência, pode ser a causa de conclusões erradas

agama pramana: scriptural inferences, the holy books, the properly understood, give enough encouragement to us to lead a self-disciplined life.

agama pramana: inferências das escrituras , os livros sagrados, devidamente entendidos, nos encorajam bastante a levar uma vida auto-disciplinada.

Truth is beyond the reach of mind, intellect and thoughts. Truth reveals itself, is self-effulgent, self-explanatory, is a transcendental experience. Truth is God, the state of divine experience.

 A verdade está além do alcance da mente, do intelecto e dos pensamentos. A verdade revela-se, é auto-esclarecida, auto-explicativa, é uma experiência transcendental. A verdade é Deus, o estado de experiência divina
