Sutra 20
Mind cannot perceive and be perceived at the same time.
A mente não pode perceber e ser percebida ao mesmo tempo
eka-samaye cobhayãnavadhãranam||20||
And both cannot be cognized at the same time.||20||
E ambos não podem ser conhecidos ao mesmo tempo. || 20 ||
It is impossible to comprehend object and Brahman at the same time.
É impossível compreender o objeto e o Brahman ao mesmo tempo.
Chitta ( mind and memory) is not self-illuminative.
Chitta (mente e memória) não é auto-iluminativa.
When the chitta cognize an object, it cannot illuminate itself.
Quando o chitta reconhece um objeto, ele não pode iluminara si mesmo.
Let your beloved be the goal, in your thoughts words, and activities.
Deixe seu amado ser o objetivo, em seus pensamentos e atividades.
