Union of the Seer and Seen and Its Pain
União do Vidente e o Visto e Sua Dor
drastrdrsyayoh samyogo heyahetuh||17|\
The cause of that [pain] which is to be avoided is the union of the knower and knowable||17||
A causa dessa [dor] que deve ser evitada é a união do conhecedor e o cognoscível || 17 ||
This subject and object relationship is the root cause off all misery.
Esta relação entre o sujeito e o objeto é a causa raiz de toda a miséria
While the perceiver is pure consciousness and immortal and the visible world is changing, finite, and perishable , there is still a contact, association, or union between the two.
Enquanto o percebedor é consciência pura e imortal e o mundo visível está mudando, finito e perecível, ainda há um contato, associação ou união entre os dois.
