What is God?
O que é Deus?
klesa karma vipãka ãsayaih aparãmrstah purusavisesa isvara||24||
Iswara{The Lord or God} is a special purusha { Being} untouched by ignorance or suffering, not subject to karma or samskaras or fruit of action, and free from attachment ||24||
Iswara {O Senhor ou Deus} é um purusha especial, sendo intocado pela ignorância ou pelo sofrimento, não sujeito ao carma ou ao samskaras ou ao fruto da ação, e livre do apego || 24 ||
In Vedantic analysis, Iswara is the Supreme Ruler of the universe-its creator, sustainer, and dissolver. Brahman the ultimate transcendental reality, is beyond all these triple actions- the One free from any attributes. Iswara is Brahman seen in prakriti ( reative nature).
Na análise Vedantica, Iswara é o Supremo Governante do universo - seu criador, sustentador e dissolvedor. Brahman, a última realidade transcendental, está além de todas essas ações triplas, Aquele livre de quaisquer atributos. Iswara é Brahman visto em prakriti (natureza reativa).
These are the first four qualities or attributes associated with the Lord :
1-klesha ( afflictions). Only God consciousness, being established in the Self, brings the state of peace and freedom.
2-karma ( action) .The root of all action is breath. One who knows the art of breathing as the art of living is free from the impact of action ( auspicious, inauspicious or mixed)
3-vipaka ( fruit of actions)fruits are in the form of pleasure or pain.
4-Ashaya ( memory or attachment). It is the seed of karma or its impressions or memory.
Estas são as quatro primeiras qualidades ou atributos associados ao Senhor:
1-klesha (aflições). Somente a consciência de Deus, sendo estabelecida no Self, traz o estado de paz e liberdade.
2-karma (ação). A raiz de toda ação é a respiração. Quem conhece a arte de respirar como a arte de viver é livre do impacto da ação (auspicioso, inauspicioso ou misturado)
3- vipaka (fruto das ações) estão na forma de prazer ou dor.
4-Ashaya (memória ou apego). É a semente do karma ou suas impressões ou memória.
One who is completely untouched by these four means of attachment and affliction is Iswara.
Quem é completamente intocado por esses quatro meios de apego e aflição é Iswara.
purusha the one who resides there is the inner reality, the inner ruler, who is not involved in actions and its consequent reactions and the experience of pain and pleasure.
purusha aquele que reside lá é a realidade interior, o governante interno, que não é envolvido em ações e suas conseqüentes reações e a experiência de dor e prazer.
You have to manifest all divine qualities in yourself through your sincere effort, prayer, and meditation.
Você deve manifestar todas as qualidades divinas em você através do seu sincero esforço, oração e meditação.
